Refund policy

At Leather Hub, all products sold are digital downloads. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as it affects your legal right to cancel.

1. Nature of Digital Products

All items sold on leatherhub.co.uk are digital files (PDF patterns and templates) delivered instantly via download upon purchase. As these are not physical goods, our refund process differs from traditional retail purchases.

2. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Under UK law, you normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period to cancel an order and receive a refund. However, this right is lost once you begin downloading digital content, provided that:

  • You have given your express consent to begin the download immediately, and
  • You have acknowledged that you lose your right to cancel once the download begins

By completing your purchase and downloading your file, you confirm your agreement to waive your 14-day cancellation right for that item.

3. When Refunds May Be Offered

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will consider a refund or replacement in the following situations:

  • The file is corrupted, faulty, or fails to download correctly
  • You received the wrong product due to an error on our part
  • The product significantly differs from its description

4. Non-Refundable Situations

We are unable to offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind after successful download
  • Difficulty understanding or using the pattern due to skill level
  • Incompatibility with your printer, software, or equipment (please check file format details before purchasing)
